![]() Mouse: I grew up around Meyers and Grand River on the west side of the city. II and this was one of the ideas that was left over.ġx: You grew up in Detroit, where in the city did you live? How did you first get into creating artwork when you were young? ![]() Mouse: They released more music from that tour, so they put that a Europe ’72 Vol. Then the waiter was chasing us down the street, and when he finally caught us he said, ‘Do you have any more of those posters?’ġx: I know we had talked about these two images specifically, but how did the idea come about to combine these two images. We put it in a restaurant when the waiters walked away, we stuck it on the window and ran away. I remember when the book came out I was in Paris and running around putting up posters of the book cover. We did some t-shirts and stuff, but this image was the culmination of all of those New Year’s Eve images. Mouse: Every New Year’s Eve they would do a show and I would do some kind of image that was similar to this, a skeleton with a glass of champagne. There might have been some air brush in it but I’m not sure.ġx: What was unique about that image compared with some of the other visual vocabulary that you had developed for the Dead over the years? I think that pretty much was all done with brush. ![]() It wasn’t a book by the Grateful Dead, it was a writer who put out the book on his own, and he asked me to do the cover. Mouse: That was for a book cover that was made in 1981, I believe. We had a lot of similar interests.ġx: Let’s talk about the other half of this image ‘One More Saturday Night.’ Was that you and Alton Kelley again or just you? He didn’t fix it, but we became really good friends. When I got out there I think I broke an axle and I heard Kelley was a mechanic, but he was a motorcycle mechanic and I asked him if he could try to fix it. I thought there was something more that I could do. I was making a lot of money there making hot rod t shirts at car shows, but I was getting tired of doing that. Mouse: I drove to San Francisco in my ’65 Porsche. They liked what we did for them and asked us to do the album cover, then we did a bunch of album covers for them after that.Īvalon Ballroom posters by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelleyġx: So Alton Kelley wasn’t from Detroit, where did you two end up meeting? We were doing posters for the Avalon Ballroom and at the time they were just one of the bands. Mouse: We did their first album cover in 1967 or 1968. It kinda just meant this was really crazy.ġx: How long had you been working with the Grateful Dead at this point? We were at a Halloween party in costumes and we got really stoned and we both simultaneously did that to our foreheads. So it was a bit of running joke with me and Alton Kelley. Then he took the ice cream and put it on his forehead. If you gave Johnny a quarter and he could put the quarter on his forehead, then you give him an ice cream cone. The image started out because of a joke, and it was a spastic joke, which is not really politically correct, but there were spastic jokes going around in the 50s. So I did a painting of the front and back cover originally, a small painting, then Kelley and I did a big painting in airbrush of each of them.Įurope ’72 front and back cover by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley Mouse: They gave us the titles, and the titles actually never came out on the album, the front was ‘Over There” and the back was ‘Stepping Out’ which we titled “Rainbow Foot.” They canned the titles on the final covers. If I tried to do that now they would say ‘are you crazy?’ It was originally an airbrush painting. This was when there weren’t any art directors for the Grateful Dead. Let’s start with talking about the Ice Cream Kid. Read on as Stanley Mouse gives us the story behind his Saturday Night and Ice Cream Kid images and the newly created blotter edition created exclusively for 1xRUN.ġxRUN: Tell us a bit about One More Saturday Night Kid, essentially this is a blend of two of your iconic images, featured on the Grateful Dead’s landmark Europe album, and then your One More Saturday Night imagery. Forming the Family Dog, the two would essentially create and revolutionize the modern gig poster, while helping to create the visual identity for the Summer of Love. It was there where he would meet his partner in crime Alton Kelley. Like many looking to explore in the 60s, it wasn’t long before Mouse picked up and left for San Francisco. Born in California but raised in Detroit, Mouse would begin his art career airbrushing eye popping hot rod art at car shows. This year Mouse brings us One More Saturday Night Kid, a blend of two of his most iconic images. We are excited to welcome in legendary artist Stanley “Mouse” Miller as part of the Bicycle Day Print Suite.

![]() I love those films as well and still believe Jolie was one of the best choices to star as Lara Craft. The same can be said when the game was adapted into a live action film starring Angelina Jolie. Growing up I was a fan of the Tomb Raider video game, and even though I 100% sucked at it, I still appreciated a strong female character kicking ass and taking names. Whether that be the fantastical worlds derived from the Marvel/DC Universe, or films like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, this genre is one, when done right, that can be really exciting and fun to watch. I enjoy action-adventure movies just as much as the next person. With this newfound knowledge, she leaves everything she knows behind and goes against her father’s wishes in search of the truth in his disappearance, leading her to the last-known location of her father’s expeditation: a mythical island off the coast of Japan which may house a dangerous spirit that could destroy the world. Upon receiving a unique but recognizable puzzle box, she soon learns that her father was much more than a businessman. Working as a bike courier with no real focus or purpose, she finds herself at a crossroads which forces her to deal with her father’s disappearance as well as his global empire. TOMB RAIDER tells the story of Lara Croft (Vikander), a fiercely independent woman who, despite having a substantial inheritance, lives a rather meager life and refuses to admit that her adventure-seeking father, who disappeared seven years earlier, is dead. The film stars Alicia Vikander ( Ex Machina) as Lara Croft, along with Dominic West (“The Wire”), Walton Goggins (“Justified”), Daniel Wu (“Into the Badlands”), and Kristin Scott Thomas ( Darkest Hour). Instead it shows how she rises to become the Lara Croft we all have come to love and respect while still showing a vulnerability in her ever increasing strength and badassery. It’s a film that doesn’t undermine the character of Croft with overly revealing outfits, mansplaining, or useless romantic interludes. TOMB RAIDER, the lastest film from Roar Uthaug ( The Wave), is an action-packed adventure that shows both Lara Croft’s fierce determination, strength, and heart. ![]() There is no ETA yet for this work.Įxchange administrators are free to take proactive steps to disable SMTP AUTH for all mailboxes that do not require it. We will work to have the disable setting for their tenant set while enabling the mailbox setting to continue their usage of SMTP AUTH. Finally, the last group of customers are those who have some mailboxes using SMTP AUTH. Affected customers will receive targeted Message Center posts if they are affected by this in the next few months. The next step will be to disable SMTP AUTH for existing tenants who do not make use of the SMTP AUTH protocol for sending any messages. This means Exchange administrators of newly created tenants will need to enable SMTP AUTH for any mailbox that requires it, using the per-mailbox setting we provide. Firstly we have already started rolling out a change to disable it for new Office 365 tenants. To reduce what attackers can do with compromised user credentials, we are also taking steps to disable SMTP AUTH by default in Exchange Online. You can find out more about these settings here. These two settings will provide administrators with the granularity required to allow most mailboxes to have SMTP AUTH disabled, and a few select mailboxes to have it enabled. Additionally, we ensured that each mailbox has a setting to override the tenant setting and enable SMTP AUTH. We previously added a setting to make it possible for tenants to disable SMTP AUTH for their entire organization. For that reason Basic Authentication will need to be supported in Exchange Online for the foreseeable future, though it is still very wise to turn off SMTP AUTH in Office 365 tenants when possible. ![]() As we have previously indicated we are working on adding support for OAuth with SMTP AUTH, but we also know that many clients have yet to add support for OAuth. All clients have ever needed to send messages was a username and password, and these credentials are all too often obtained and used by attackers. SMTP AUTH (also known as authenticated SMTP client submission) is a legacy internet protocol which does not support OAuth by design. Email clients such as Outlook rarely use this protocol anymore and instead make use of other protocols secured with Modern Authentication (OAuth). The majority of the clients connecting to Exchange Online like this are devices such as multi-function printers or some piece of software that send automated emails. This will help us as well as others in the community who may be researching similar issues. The SMTP AUTH protocol is used to submit millions of emails every day. If the information helped you, please Accept the answer. Happy to share any feedback with the product team on your behalf! Let me know if this helps and if you have further questions. If you need to customize your security requirements and need more fine-tuned MFA options, the recommendation is to use Conditional Access. Tenants will be reevaluated periodically and if not using conditional access, security defaults will be enabled.Ĭonditional Access is really the best solution for your scenario since it allows the use of any authentication method and provides the option for call-to-phone and text-to-phone. Also, per-user MFA is going away entirely shortly, so the recommendation is to use conditional access going forward. You can use per-user MFA settings, but those require (and have always required) your users to have the correct number of licenses assigned for use of MFA. That said, my understanding (and I've reached out to verify this with the PG) is that security defaults do not override pre-existing per-user MFA controls, so those should still be in effect at least for now. The recommendation going forward is to use Conditional Access. To add to the previous response, security defaults are the free option that allows all users to MFA using the Microsoft Authenticator app. ![]()

Ultimately, all the research on ACV and weight loss is from small studies-and it’s really hard to draw conclusions from those, says Jessica Cording, R.D., author of The Little Book of Game-Changers But again, the reasons behind that are murky. One study by Johnston in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics found that participants who drank the fermented liquid before a meal consumed up to 275 fewer calories throughout the rest of the day. It’s also possible that ACV might directly make you want to eat less. ![]() Apple cider vinegar has high levels of a polyphenol called chlorogenic acid, which could help improve heart health by inhibiting the oxidation of bad LDL cholesterol. What’s more, a 2014 study from the Journal of Food Science suggests that vinegars, such as apple cider vinegar, can help reduce the effects of diabetes and prevent cardiovascular disease due to its antioxidant activity. “So, if apple cider vinegar can help control blood sugar, this could help manage cravings and portion control, potentially leading to fewer calories consumed,” explains Amy Goodson, M.S., R.D., C.S.S.D., L.D. ![]() That matters because blood sugar highs and lows tend to lead to cravings for sugary snacks. Why this happens isn’t totally clear, but nutrition researchers like Carol Johnston, Ph.D., who has studied ACV at Arizona State University for years, suspects that compounds in the vinegar interfere with the absorption of some starches. Another 2010 study from the Annals of Nutrition & Metabolism shows that having two teaspoons of ACV during meal time could help reduce sugar crashes and keep blood sugar levels stabilized. For instance, a 2013 study from the Journal of Functional Foods suggests that drinking apple cider vinegar before eating is linked to smaller blood sugar spikes. On top of that, ACV seems to have properties that could potentially support your weight-loss efforts. “But the consistent results indicate that ACV may be a beneficial tool in reducing body weight.” “These studies were done on very small populations,” says Erin Palinksi-Wade, R.D., C.D.E., L.D.N. (Those who drank the placebo actually gained a little bit of weight.) However, those findings alone don’t prove that ACV is a magic fat melter. At the end of the study, those who drank two tablespoons had lost close to 4 pounds, while those who drank one tablespoon lost 2.5 pounds. In another study in Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, 144 adults with obesity were randomly assigned to drink either a placebo or one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily for 12 weeks. On the other hand, those who cut the same number of calories but didn’t consume ACV lost only 5 pounds. One study in the Journal of Functional Foods, which followed 39 adults, found that participants who consumed a tablespoon of ACV at lunch and dinner, while cutting 250 calories per day, lost 8.8 pounds in 12 weeks. As for how ACV may help with that, there’s only a small amount of evidence to directly back it up. Let’s get one thing clear up front: The only scientifically sound, proven way to lose weight is by eating fewer calories than you burn (or entering a calorie deficit) and exercising regularly to burn off any extra. The science behind apple cider vinegar for weight loss Below, we consult experts and research to dive into how ACV may-or may not-help you drop a few pounds. That’s why wellness “hacks” like apple cider vinegar for weight loss have recently surged in popularity-and like most proposed cure-alls, although it has its benefits, it also has it pitfalls. There are four difficulties: Marksman, Sharpshooter, Veteran Sniper and Deadeye. Playing On Different Difficulties Is Fun! I remember that I thought it essential in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, but I probably just have become better at playing tactical shooters since then.Īs for Skills, you can outfit your operative with better sight, armor and speed, which is great. While I usually equip the drone, I never use it in this game, and you really don’t have to. All these can be customized, for example with a silencer, larger ammo capacity, different ammo types and so forth. You have a primary weapon, which is usually your rifle, a secondary weapon, SMG or bow, and side arm, which can be any type of pistol. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 offers a decent skill tree. So, you will have to adapt and prepare for any eventuality. Some are heavies, some are grunts, some are snipers. Also, equip armor piercing rounds to take out heavies, unless you have a heavy duty rifle equipped. That way, you can unlock shortcuts that will make taking out primary targets that much more easy! While you do have the option of using fast travel points, I believe exploration is key. There are two kinds: classic contracts, which means you will get along just fine with your standard loadout (a silenced rifle, the compound bow or a SMG, a silenced pistol and whatever tools you feel you need), and long shot contracts, which require a heavy sniper rifle and will have the enemy zeroing in on you if you give up your position. Which is why in this game you really need to pay attention to your contracts. Raven is a long shot specialist, which means he is a sniper first and foremost. But in a very short amount of time, with minimal effort and technical knowledge, the Fire Max 11 suddenly became a lot more useful to me. It’s frustrating to have an otherwise excellent device that doesn’t let me work in the way I want to out of the box. I’m sure if I paid the $70–per year subscription to use Microsoft Word, it would be the same, but I personally have no need to use Word on any device I own- and I am sure I’m not the only one. There are four in all (Google Account Manager v7.1.2, Google Services Framework 10-6494331, Google Play Services for Android 11, and the Google Play Store), and I was mindful about where I sourced them, as none are provided by Google or Amazon and using files found online is always a security risk. I changed the Silk Browser settings to accept apps from unknown sources and located the files required to install Google Play. The most obvious solution was to add the Google Play Store, but this isn’t something Amazon or Google officially offer, and it’s definitely in a legal gray area, as the Amazon tablet isn’t a fully licensed Android device.
